Yesterday Alitalia presented the summer season 2013. We report here the most important news.
Are open nine new routes from Rome: Copenhagen (Denmark), Krakow (Poland), Yekaterinburg (Russia), Oran (Algeria), Podgorica (Montenegro), Bilbao (Spain) and Montpellier (France), as well new seasonal destinations active from June to September: Antalya (Turkey) and Djerba (Tunisia).
From May will be operating again seasonal flights between Rome Fiumicino Airport to Los Angeles and Chicago. From June to September will be reactivated seasonal flights between Rome Fiumicino to Ibiza, Palma de Mallorca, Rhodes and Trapani, and from Trieste to Olbia. From July Alitalia will restart flights to Lampedusa and Pantelleria from Rome Fiumicino and Milan Linate. The flight to Fortaleza (Brazil) is suspended from May 27th .
As previously announced Alitalia cancelled the flight to Beijing, and the company is considering to increase the intercontinental network with a new link to South Africa in September.
Lastly, also on domestic flights Alitalia has chosen again to offer a snack accompanied by soft drinks, fruit juices and a tea or coffee.
